London Luton Airport is one of the UK's busiest airports with passenger numbers at over 9.94 million during the calendar year 2007 an increase of
nearly 400% in 10 years.
The journey time from Hertford to Luton in off peak times is about 45 minutes but this can be much longer during peak times or if there are holdups
due to an incident on any of the major trunks roads that are on route such as the A414 or A602.
Luton airport has one main terminal building. When being droppped off at Luton vehicles are permitted into the drop off zone solely for the convenience of departing passengers and may stay a maximum of 10 minutes; the driver
MUST remain with the vehicle at all times. This facility is NOT open for 'pick up' or collection of arriving passengers. Arriving passengers will be met
